Transforming Learners, Transforming Lives Conference
Tuesday 13th - Thursday 15th April 2010Following on from the success of our conference in 2008, the Centre for Excellence in Professional Placement Learning (Ceppl), at the University of Plymouth is delighted to announce its 2010 conference:
This year`s conference maintains our focus on discussing innovation, knowledge and practice in placement, practice or work-based learning, along with showcasing the work of the Centre`s Innovation Fund Holders and Graduate Fellows.
The conference will be centred on six themes:
- Transforming learners, transforming lives
- Rethinking interprofessional education
- Technology enhancing learning on placement
- Preparing and supporting students
- Assessment for learning? Assessment for practice?
- Sustaining impact: ensuring the future of our learners
The University of Plymouth is situated in the heart of this Devon coastal city on the border with Cornwall. We have put together some travel information and useful links regarding logistics to assist you with travel and accommodation.
To celebrate, the conference will host a dinner on the Wednesday evening at the National Marine Aquarium. Situated on the Barbican, overlooking the magnificent Plymouth Sound, the Aquarium is a truly unique venue.
